Praise: The Way to Have More Than Enough | Part Eight

Jehoshaphat said, “Our eyes are upon Thee.” They were not upon the enemies, they were not upon the problem, neither were they on man to come and help them. Their eyes were on God. When we praise God, our eyes are on Him and we see our salvation in Him. We see Him healing our bodies, taking care of our families, giving us wisdom to tackle our problems. We see all these things with our inner eyes, the eyes of faith. It takes faith to follow God.

We were made to praise God; no day should pass without you giving glory to the Lord and thanking Him. A lifestyle of praise like this will bring a release of God’s increase, blessing you, and causing you to be a blessing to many others.

According to Judges 5:11 (NKJV), we should be among those who “recount the righteous acts of the Lord…” Praise God for your many blessings; the food you eat, your health, your job, your family and children, and all the wonderful things you have. You and I just don’t know on this side of heaven, how many accidents, injuries and devastating circumstances, God has delivered us from. But there are some things that we do know, and we should be bringing them up again and again, recounting them and thanking Him. Praise Him every day, praise the Lord today!
