False religion always lifts animals above people. Healing and ministering to the physical body, to this ruler, was a carnal thing – not good enough to take place on the Sabbath day. Jesus had to change that kind of thinking. He couldn’t care less if it was the Sabbath day or not. This woman as a child of Abraham, should not have been bound in the first place. She lived with the curse for eighteen years, not knowing that she could be free from it. If she hadn’t met Jesus, she probably would have been bound for another eighteen or more years.
These so-called generational curses have perpetrated themselves in the lives of Christians, because of their ignorance of the word of God and of their covenant rights. We should not be going about having people break the power of generational curses over us.
Galatians 3 (NKJV)
13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),
14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles [us] in Christ Jesus…
You must wake up to the fact that no generational curses in your family should be affecting you. Realize that when you said “yes” to Jesus, it meant “no” to the devil, and “no” to all his works in your life. The farmer we spoke of earlier should have woken up to that fact. No special service was needed to set him free. He could have been free just as simply as Jesus set that woman free.
